Dr Louise Robinson is an Ophthalomolgist who has undergone further advanced training in glaucoma and cataract surgery. 

Dr Robinson obtained her medical degree from the University of Sydney and graduated with honours. She underwent her Ophthalmic speciality training at Sydney Eye Hospital, where she obtained a comprehensive exposure and understanding of Ophthalmology, as well as training in the surgical skills of an Ophthalmologist.  She underwent further training in glaucoma at the surgically renown University of British Columbia, Vancouver Eye Care Centre, Canada.

She is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), American Glaucoma Society (AGS), Canadian Ophthalmology Society (COS), Australian Society of Ophthalmologists and the Australian Medical Association.

Her surgical interests include trabeculectomy, glaucoma drainage devices, minimally invasive glaucoma devices, and goinioscopy ab interno transluminal trabeculotomy, as well as cataract extraction, pterygium excisions and medical retinal interventions.  She is adept at selective trabeculoplasty, peripheral iridotomies, micropulse and cyclo-destructive laser procedures.

She is actively involved and committed to ongoing glaucoma clinical research, having presented at international meetings and with papers that are to be published in peer reviewed journals.  She is committed to teaching and is an active mentor to a number of medical students.
