Mental Health Services
The Southport Private Hospital provides comprehensive mental health services to the Gold Coast and wider community.
Our mental health service offers inpatient programs for youths (from 16 years of age) and adults requiring treatment for mood, anxiety, personalities disorders and alcohol dependency. We also offer neurostimulation services such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) should it be suitable for patients, plus a comprehensive range of day and community programs.
We are the only private Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) provider on the Gold Coast saving our community from having to travel to Brisbane for this service.
Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to providing holistic care underscored by the best available, evidence-based psychiatric and psychological treatment.

Rehabilitation Unit
Our rehabilitation unit includes a 42-bed rehabilitation unit, offering inpatient and day programs for orthopaedic, neurological, amputee, musculoskeletal, pain management, arthritis and pulmonary rehabilitation. Ramsay Health Plus is also available.

Patients can be referred to the Hospital following assessment by their General Practitioner and will be admitted to the Hospital under the care of a consultant psychiatrist or rehabilitation specialist.
